Greetings New York Regional Chapter Members and Friends,

I want to express my gratitude for the trust you have placed in the 2023 - 2025 executive board to lead the N.A.H.S.E. NYR through its next chapter.

In our hands, we hold not just the responsibility of the chapter, but a commitment to engage, educate, mentor, reclaim and uplift. Here at NYR, the hope is to embark on a journey together, creating a more inclusive, engaging and collaborative space for each other.

As a chapter, we will embody the strategic goals (A.B.L.E.) of N.A.H.S.E.;

Amplify: Amplify Black voices in healthcare

Build: the pipeline of future Black healthcare executives

Lead: By Example

Ensure: the sustainability of N.A.H.S.E.

Our success relies not only on our internal efforts but collaboration with similar organizations, institutions of higher education and healthcare entities, who align with us and are dedicated towards a shared vision. To the members, I urge each one of you to bring your unique skills and perspectives to the table. Let us work hand in hand to foster an environment where we will thrive, where every voice is heard, where we can inspire one another and enlist those who may not know about us to join in order to reach new heights.

Together, we are able to build a stronger chapter and be a beacon of hope in our village. I am confident that with our collective efforts, we will achieve remarkable milestones and inspire so many.
