IIn Partnership with the National Association of Healthcare Executives (NAHSE) NY Regional Chapter and National Coalition of 100 Black Women Manhattan Chapter, Join us for Women's History Month:  Shaping the Future of Healthcare. 

Featured Speaker: LaRay Brown, Chief Executive Officer of One Brooklyn Health System. LaRay has served in this role since 2017 and previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President at Interfaith Medical Center, Inc. since February 2016. She served as Senior Vice President at NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest municipal hospital system in the nation, for 20+ years. She is a nationally recognized advocate for community health and safety-net hospitals.

Conversation Facilator: Dr. Ruth C. Browne, SD has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Ronald McDonald House New York since September 2016. Prior to assuming her role there, Dr. Browne served for 12 years as Chief Executive Officer of the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health (AAIUH), a best practice harbinger of interventions that advance health and educational equity solutions for culturally diverse populations locally and nationally.

NC100BW advocates on behalf of black women through national and local actions and strategic alliances that promote its national and international agendas on leadership development and gender equity in health, education and economic development. NC100BW addresses the health disparities and inequalities of underserved communities by educating the public and advocating for health equity and access to preventative health services.


NAHSE is the premier professional association for black executives in the healthcare field. NAHSE was established for the pur­pose of promoting the advancement and development of these leaders and ele­vating the quality of healthcare services rendered to minority and underserved communities. Since its inception, NAHSE has sponsored and participated in local and national programs designed to improve quality, access, and availability of health services, and to expand educational opportunities in the field of health services administration.
